B-Loft

Packaging
The loft is organized by a single structuring element; all the basic functions are vacuum-packed into a solitary volume. The packing of functions liberates the remaining space and allows for fluid transitions between unadulterated spaces. Materialized in Brazilian wood type ‘Louro Faia’ the box has the aesthetic of a violin.

Blurring
To blur the definition between floor, wall and ceiling all are rendered in the same continuous white. The colour and material helps dissolve the notion of horizontal layering and allows for a more spacious and three dimensional understanding of the space. The highly reflective floor further enhances the experience of a fluid reading of the space.
