DL Apartment

The apartment was designed for a couple in their new phase of life, in the desire to live in a cozy and timeless space. Light colors, fluid spaces and integrated exteriors characterize the concept developed by Spol for the DL apartment. As it is a renovation, the creative process was a part important in the rediscovery of the place and in the recomposition of the new dwell. The intervention in space sought the dismemberment of the environments previously fragmented into two duplexes that did not meet the customers’ wishes. The top two floors of a tower in Vila Nova Conceição were converted into a single unit. By taking advantage of the existing terrace, a conversational interior was created. with the outside, allowing a more fluid use of the apartment. The idea of the project was to maintain the sense of spatial continuity that was reinforced with the curve of a single transparent plane that accompanies the entire social area.
